Sisters Be FOR your Sister

This is my first post for this particular blog. I have sat here for about four hours trying to figure out just how to start. Or even WHERE, to start.  I have a vision. My vision derives from my personal experiences and the knowledge of the experiences of other women. Most certainly Black women but, not to exclude my sisters from another Mother.  We all have struggled, aspired, dreamed, and work hard for whatever we have , where ever we live. Sometimes we are alone. Sometimes we are alone even when we are not. Yet, I am here to say, you . me , "We", Are Not alone. We are never alone. We are Nation. We are Sisters, Friends, Mothers, daughters, cousins, neighbors, the ladies in the stores, malls, the homeless women in the street, Aunts,  and grandmas, We are a Nation, and we have our own power and our own strengths, we can grow, we can share, we can have conversations, and we can listen to each  other and we can help each other. We just need to be FOR each other.  The world can be a big place and sometimes confusing and scary, we sisters have knowledge and experiences we can and perhaps should share. Information is POWER.

The Sharing of Information fosters education, education is growth. We all need to GROW. continuously. Grow intellectually, spiritually, and reach out to grow as a people. We have a responsibility to each other , our families and our communities.  Just look around you at the state of our nation. At what is happening to the youth in our streets. Most especially we people of color. We have to start somewhere. we have to begin to uplift each other. Support the positive in one another. Reach back, reach up, reach around,  reach down and grab hold to each other.
Don't be afraid to stop sometimes and actually listen to another woman weather it be her Joy or her dispair let's stop being selfish with ourselves and with our time. Take the time to connect. You may find the rewards to be greater than you could ever imagine.

This is just a short message as to what I am striving for with this blog. I welcome comments, suggestions , constructive criticisms,  links to interesting articles blogs, useful ideas, creative ideas etc. I would like to inspire conversations among women, foster support groups and or systems. You can leave what you like in the comments section as long it is not intentionally derogatory, spiteful, demeaning, or otherwise negative or abuse in any way. I am striving for peaceful coexistence in an otherwise chaotic world. Let's be the Light in the darkness and not a part of the Abyss.
